Election Commission of India is set to announce the much-awaited schedule for the Lok Sabha elections tomorrow. The Commission is likely to also announce schedules’ for some assembly elections as well.
The presser is likely to be held at around 3 PM tomorrow.
Back home, anticipation has grown manifolds in the backdrop of ECI’s recent visit to Jammu and Kashmir to assess the prevailing situation. The ECI on multiple occasions hinted at simultaneous conduct of the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, ergo the call for ‘One Nation, One Election’ may see a realisation from the Himalayan region itself.
