SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER. 05 :
Bhartiya Janata Party’s (BJP’s) Jammu and Kashmir president Ravinder Raina Friday said that Assembly elections will be held in J&K soon after the delimitation process and that “there will be a BJP chief minister and BJP government in the UT.”
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of Bhaviya Pooja and famous Shankarcharya temple in Srinagar, Raina said that once the delimitation process would end, Assembly elections would be held in J&K. “Let me tell you, the way people of J&K are accepting BJP, there will be BJP chief minister andBJP government in the UT,” he said as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO)
Raina said that denying air-space by Pakistan to direct flight from Srinagar to Sharjah reflects the “ill-mindset of the neighbor” and the move is totally unfair. “Flights will still go from Srinagar to Sharjah and the only difference will be that there will be a longer route. Now flights will first take off from Srinagar and then fly from Delhi to Mumbai and then to Sharjah,” he said, adding that by denying air-space, the neighboring country has proved that it doesn’t want development of J&K—(KNO)
