An extraordinary meeting was held at the head office of CNS Media Group in Srinagar on Monday. The meeting was attended by district correspondents as well as reporters from Pir Panchal and Chenab region.

According to CNS, the meeting was held in Srinagar under the chairmanship of Rasheed Rahi, Editor-in-Chief of CNS Media Group.
Addressing the meeting, the participants presented their proposals and interacted on various issues including social media networks, new techniques and requirements.

Rasheed Rahi, Editor-in-Chief of CNS Media Group, congratulated all the participants in the meeting for making positive suggestions and assured all those will be considered.
“The agency has been working since 1995 and we have never compromised on any news,” he said. He said that journalism can be made the best source of one’s career but first of all one should take care of the sanctity of one’s profession and institution. He said that as a journalist, the observation of a journalist should be very wide. They should keep a close eye on the news presented on all media platforms so that they are aware of the situation and events around them. He advised all the reporters present at the meeting to take special care of their safety before filing any news report as first of all we should think of our own lives and also be aware of the reality and the situation on the ground. He also said that not a single source should be used in any news report but it is necessary to verify from multiple sources with accurate information, best analysis and good presentation. He also instructed the reporters to refrain from being a tool of anyone but should do social and public service through their pen as a great devotion.

Among those who addressed the meeting were Mushtaq Islam, Wasim Baba, Ghulam Qadir Beidar, Mansoor Hussain, Nisar Shaheen, Farooq Ahmad Rather, Fayaz Jamal, Tariq Yusuf, Sheikh Shabbir, Anzer Mahjoo, Shafiq Islam Abbas Majeed, Saleem Yousaf. , Shahid Meraj, Khan Ayub ,Ashraf Hammad and others.
