Poonch,April 10

,In a move at easing recent tensions along the Line of Control (LoC), the Indian and Pakistani armies are scheduled to hold a flag meeting today in the Chakan Da Bagh area of Jammu’s Poonch sector.

The meeting as per News Agency comes in response to repeated requests by Pakistan and is expected to focus on border-related concerns and recent ceasefire violations.

Sources in the Indian Army have confirmed that the main agenda of the meeting will revolve around recent infiltration attempts by Pakistani troops.

These incidents include efforts to plant Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and install surveillance cameras within Indian territory—moves that were effectively foiled by India’s vigilant anti-infiltration grid.

The Indian side is expected to raise strong objections over these aggressive actions, which pose a threat to peace along the LoC.

The flag meeting is being viewed as a crucial step in maintaining the ceasefire understanding reached between the two countries in 2021, amid growing concerns of renewed hostilities.
