Ramban, Dec 4, :
A forest guard slipped to death after falling from an elevated terrain in the Banihal area of Ramban district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Official sources said that the victim was on duty and proceeding towards his destination when he slipped from an elevated terrain. He sustained multiple injuries and died on the spot.
The victim has been identified as Jafar Yousuf, a resident of Yousuf Wagan Sherbibi village of Banihal.
Police have registered a case under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
