SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 14 :
Prominent columnist and former Additional Secretary to J&K Government, Haji Mohammad Muzaffar Thakur on Tuesday formally joined the Peoples Conference with senior leaders welcoming the new entrant into the party fold.
Party spokesman in a statement issued hear said that several other prominent social activists and political workers also joined the Peoples Conference including veteran national conference leader Haji Habibullah, Parvaiz, Zahoor Bhat, Jahangir Bhat and Jameel Ahmed.
Furthermore, senior political workers from Sonwar constituency Mohammed Yusuf Sheikh, Mohammed Afzal Sheikh, Mohammed Yusuf Wani, Ghulam Hussian Pandith, Waseem Hussain Wani, Bashir A Malik, Ghulam Mohuddin Kath of Lashkeri Mohallah also joined the JKPC.
The statement reads that senior workers of NC and PDP, Hilal Ahmed Dar of Karpora, Nazir Ahmed and Abdul Rashid of Brane and Mursal respectively also joined the PC.
