The Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar expresses its profound grief and sorrow on the sad demise of Prof. (Dr.) Peerzada Abdul Rashid, a distinguished surgeon, revered teacher, and a mentor.
Prof. Rashid was a towering figure in the field of surgery and medical education at GMC Srinagar. He headed the department of Surgery, leaving an enduring mark on the institution and the medical fraternity.
