Srinagar, March 4 :

Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar has postponed the written test for candidates applying for selection/engagement as Tutor/Clinical Instructor and Public Health Tutor on an academic arrangement basis.

According to an official notification issued by the college, the written examination which was earlier scheduled to be held on March 5, 2026 (Thursday) has now been rescheduled to March 11, 2026 (Wednesday).

The notification states that the postponement has been made in reference to Notification No. 04-EC of 2026 dated February 27, 2026, issued under S.O. 364 of 2020.

Authorities have advised all concerned candidates to download fresh roll number slips before appearing in the examination.

The college further clarified that all other terms and conditions mentioned in the earlier notification will remain unchanged.

The order has been issued by Prof. (Dr.) Iffat Hassan Shah, Principal/Dean, Government Medical College Srinagar, dated March 3, 2026.(KNC)
