Srinagar, Jul 08 :
The Jammu and Kashmir government Monday appointed Prof Mohammad Mobin as Vice Chancellor of the Cluster University of Srinagar (CUS) for a period of three years.
According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) in this regard, an order was issued by the Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha who is also a chancellor of CUS.
“In exercise of powers vested in me under section 12(1) of the Srinagar and Jammu Cluster Universities Act, 2016, I, Manoj Sinha, Chancellor, Cluster University of Srinagar, hereby appoint Prof. Mohammad Mobin, Department of Applied Chemistry, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh (U.P.) as Vice Chancellor of the Cluster University of Srinagar for a period of three years with effect from the date on which he takes over the charge, on the terms and conditions to be notified separately,” it reads.—(KNO)
