23 Employers, 750 Women Job Seekers, participated, ITI Baramulla also hosts successful placement drive

Baramulla: A daylong Job Utsav was held at Govt ITI Baramulla on 21st February 2025, as part of a collaborative effort between Govt ITI Baramulla ,District Employment and Counseling Centre, Baramulla and Naandi foundation. The event was jointly inaugurated by the Coordinator of Naandi Foundation Dr Jahangir ul Gani, Er. Javid Ahmad Ganie Principal Govt ITI Baramulla, AD Employment Mr. Rahil Amin and Principal GDC(W) Baramulla Professor Neelofar.

The job fair saw the participation of 23 job providers with more than 300 vacancies from various sectors, offering a wide array of employment opportunities. The event had a special focus on female aspirants from the district, especially those trained by Naandi Foundation under their Mahindra Pride Classroom Project.

Pertinent to mention that Naandi Foundation’s Mahindra Pride Classroom, supported by Mahindra Group provides Employability Skills Training through 40-hour program that focuses on life skills, personality development, and interview preparation to ITI students under an MOU signed .

The event was a success, with more than 750 female candidates participating, creating a valuable platform for local talent to connect with potential employers and advance their careers.

Meanwhile, ITI Baramulla, in collaboration with Naandi Foundation, organized a placement drive that brought together top companies and talented candidates from the district.

Over 300 candidates participated, and more than 150 were shortlisted by companies like Peaks Auto Pvt. Ltd, Bajaj Alliance, and ICICI Bank. The drive offered job opportunities in various sectors, including banking, teaching, and marketing.

We appreciate Naandi Foundation’s support and look forward to future collaborations. Our mission is to provide employment opportunities and empower the youth in the district.
