Today on 18/02/2022,A grand review meeting for preparedness prior to reopening of Schools held in Zone Uri in the conference hall of BHSS URI…
Chief Education Officer Baramulla Mr.G.M.Lone (National Awardee) presided over the meeting besides all the Principals of Higher Secondary Schools,Zonal Education Officers,Zonal Education Planning Officer Uri, Headmasters of High Schools and HOI’s of all Middle Schools and Primary Schools from frontier Zones-URI and JHULLAH attended the meeting.
Zonal Education Planning Officer Uri Mr Wali Mohammad Kakroo in his inaugural speech threw a detailed light on the different activities being carried out prior to the re- opening of Schools in both the Zones..Mr Kakroo said that all the HOI’S have been instructed to carry out Proper Cleaning of the School premises, Placement of Sanitization facilities,Provision of Masks and sanitizers besides many more activities are being carried out in the Schools so that Schools are being kept ready for offline classwork well in time…Mr Kakroo assured full fledged cooperation of teaching fraternity for much awaited offline classwork resumption and for taking the academic work back on track….
Chief Education Officer Baramulla Mr G.M.Lone,while speaking urged for some more than usual efforts from all stakeholders and stressed for all out efforts to ensure proper readiness of Schools and enforcement of COVID appropriate behaviour and other Standard Operating Procedures as the health of the School comming students shall not be compromised at any level…Mr Lone stressed for academic remedial and Psychological support to the students comming back in the institutions after a long gap which have considerably damaged the achievements of learning outcomes and related learning goals….
Mr Lone further added that time has come to get back the academic activities on track and provide conducive atmosphere in the institutions with close liaison and coordination and collaboration keeping all possible procedures in place for the betterment of education scenario and better outcomes……
Principal BHSS URI Mr Mushtaq Sopori while concluding the event thanked the CEO BLA and all the Officers and HOI’S of both the Zones and assured full support and all out efforts for the betterment of education sector…Mr Sopori urged for supplementary measures ,better resource management and adoption of blended teaching learning strategies as an alternate approach alongside offline classes…Mr Sopori thanked all the participants present in the meeting and concluded the event presenting flower garlands to worthy Chief Education Officer Baramulla….
