Srinagar, June 10 :

Former J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Saturday said had BJP been ready elections would have been held in Jammu and Kashmir.

“It is ample clear that BJP is not ready. Had it been ready elections would have been held in Jammu and Kashmir,” Omar Abdullah as per KNS told reporters.

He said that Chief Election Commissioner himself said that after getting information on the situation from Home Ministry, they will announce elections in J&K, but he is unable to understand why that information has been delayed.

Reacting strongly to a question over forming an alliance of political parties in J&K to give tought fight to communal parties, he said there is no point in discussing the alliance as of now. When there is no such announcement regarding elections in J&K what for we will think over on alliance,” he said. (KNS)
