MALPORA/BUDMULLA: With moist eyes and cheerful faces, the staff and students of Government Middle School Malpora Zone Fathegarh accorded warm send off and extended their heartfelt congratulations to Headmaster Abdul Hameed Bhat, who has reached his well-deserved superannuation after serving the education department for 33 years.

Dedicated senior teacher Abdul Hameed Bhat has been a role model and an inspiration for everyone in the school and community. He has dedicated his entire career to serving the students, staff, and the community, with his hard work, sincerity, and patience.

Under his leadership, the school has achieved tremendous growth and success. He has been instrumental in creating a positive learning environment, improving the infrastructure, and introducing innovative teaching techniques that have benefited the students in many ways.

On this auspicious occasion, the Zonal Education Officer Fathegarh Ashiq Hussain Kar, ministerial staff of ZEO Office, staff members of the school, and students accompanied Abdul Hameed Bhat to his home to honour him and express their gratitude for his invaluable contributions to the institution.

“We wish our beloved HOI Abdul Hameed Bhat a happy and healthy post retirement life and hope that he continues to inspire and guide us in the years to come,” senior teacher Sheikh Abdul Rahman while speaking on this occasion.

The send-off ceremony was marked by speeches, presentations, and heartfelt messages of appreciation from staff, students, and members of the community.

The retiring Headmaster was presented with gifts and mementos as a token of gratitude and appreciation for his exemplary service to the education department.

Retiring senior teacher Abdul Hameed Bhat, in his farewell speech, expressed his gratitude to the entire school community and the education department for giving him the opportunity to serve as the Head of the Institution.

He also thanked his colleagues, staff members, and students for their support, cooperation, and love throughout his career.

“I feel overwhelmed by the love, respect, and support that I have received from the school community. It has been an honour and privilege to serve as the Head of the Institution of this esteemed institution, and I will cherish the memories and experiences forever,” he said.

Speaking on the occasion General Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taeleem District Baramulla Reyaz Ahmad Ganai said that retirement of Abdul Hameed Bhat marks the end of an era in the history of education department.The teaching community will always remember his contribution and legacy, and his teachings and principles will continue to inspire the generations to come.

Speaking on this occasion Zonal Education Officer Fathegarh Ashiq Hussain Kar termed the Abdul Hameed Bhat an honest and dedicated educationist who contributed a lot in the field of education.

He was also accompanied by senior teacher Farooq Ahmad Wani, teacher Sajad Ahmad Lone and female staff of the school.
