The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh on Tuesday issued a notification announcing revised winter office and court timings for all District Courts in Kashmir Division and the Union Territory of Ladakh.
According to the notification issued by Registrar General M.K. Sharma as per news ageny, the new schedule will remain in force from December 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.
As per the order, office hours in both regions will run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a lunch break from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Court proceedings will be conducted from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a break from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The notification further states that from April 1, 2026, the District Courts will revert to the timings prescribed under High Court Order No. 1638/NG dated 22-05-2020.
