J&K Peoples Conference senior leader’s Hilal Ahmed Rather and Yasir Rashi on Thursday paid glowing tributes to renowned religious scholar and political leader Moulana Iftikhar Hussain Ansari on his 8th death anniversary.
Rather remembered Late Moulana Sahib as a noted religious scholar and visionary political leader who had dedicated his life in serving the downtrodden sections of the society and instilling in them enough confidence to fight and struggle for their genuine rights.
He also recalled the role of Maulvi Ansari in grooming young political leaders, his steadfastness in standing up for what was right and his unmatched adherence to principles and values that he cherished.
“Moulana Sahib’s extraordinary leadership qualities and contribution in the sociopolitical space of J&K is exceptional and unparalleled. He fought for the rights and dignity of his people till his last breath. I pray for his eternal peace”, he said.

Yasir Reshi on Friday paid glowing tributes to a renowned Islamic scholar and Jammu and Kashmir’s political personality Moulana Iftikhar Hussain Ansari on his 8th death anniversary.
Describing Molvi Iftikhar Ansari as a great religious scholar and statesman Rishi said, “He was an Islamic preacher, guide and spiritual leader his contributions would be remembered forever”
Rishi further said that the late leader worked hard for the betterment of people especially the poor during his life. He said Molvi Iftikhar always used to work for communal harmony and brotherhood and had never believed in dissent.
