Srinagar, April 18 :

A hoax bomb call led to the halting of a flight at Srinagar International airport this evening, officials said.

A Top police officer told GNS that at evening hours, a telephone call was received regarding bomb in a Go First flight. Without taking any chances, the flight was halted, he said. “Searches were carried and nothing was found,” a police officer told GNS.

Later flight operation resumed, he said. Regarding the call, the officer said that it has been traced ton New Delhi.

However he said that the phone is switched off since then. “Further investigations are underway,” the officer added. (GNS)
