BARAMULLA , SEPTEMBER,13 :

Hon’ble Justice Vinod Chatterji Koul, Administrative Judge, District Court Baramulla, visited the District Court Complex Baramulla today and formally inaugurated the National Lok Adalat. The event was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Principal District Judge Mr. Javaad Ahmad, ADJ Mr. Naseer Ahmad Dar, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Mr. Minga Sherpa, ACR Mr Arshid Khan, President Bar Association Baramulla adv Neelofar Masood ,SP Operations Mr. Farooz Yahaya, DySP Mr. Altaf Ahmad, SHO Mr. Owais Gilani, other judicial officers, and members of the Bar Association Baramulla.

During the Lok Adalat proceedings, cheques were distributed among MACT claimants, providing relief to deserving beneficiaries. The event also served as a platform for constructive dialogue, as Mr. Justice Vinod Chatterji Koul interacted with President Bar Association Baramulla Adv. Neelofar Masood and members of the Bar Association. Key issues relating to court infrastructure, working conditions, and other vital concerns were discussed.

The Bar Association, Baramulla, felicitated Mr. Justice Vinod Chatterji Koul in recognition of his leadership and commitment to strengthening the judicial system. In his address, Justice Koul expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and assured that the concerns raised by the Bar would be addressed with earnest efforts to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of court proceedings.

The event concluded on a positive note, reflecting the shared commitment of the judiciary and the legal fraternity to uphold justice and ensure better access to legal remedies for the public.
