The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered an in-depth inquiry against Er. Tariq Hussain, Incharge Assistant Engineer (Civil) in PW(R&B) Division Poonch, following a report furnished by the Criminal Investigation Department.
An order issued by R&B department as news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Shri Atul Bali, Chief Engineer PW(R&B) Department, DIQC J&K, has been appointed as the Inquiry Officer to probe the matter. The officer has been directed to complete the inquiry and submit his report along with specific recommendations within 15 days from the issuance of the order.
The order further states that Er. Tariq Hussain will remain attached with the office of the Engineer-in-Chief, Civil Secretariat Srinagar, until further directions.
The inquiry has been initiated under Rule 33 of the J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956. (KNC)
