Samba, Jan 25 :

One Pakistani Intruder was killed after Border Security Force (BSF) foiled an infiltration bid from Pakistan along the Indo-Pak International Border in Samba district, sources said on Sunday.

Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Pakistani intruders attempted to enter Indian territory under the cover of darkness. Alert BSF personnel noticed suspicious movement and challenged the intruder.

They said the intruder failed to stop and was neutralised by the BSF in the ensuing action. The killed individual has been identified as a Pakistani national.

Security forces have launched a thorough search of the area, and further details are awaited. The situation along the border remains under close watch. (KNC)
