Srinagar, Dec 15 :
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved a two-year extension in the inter-cadre deputation tenure of Ms. Sarah Afzal Ahmed Rizvi, IPS (GJ:2008), from the Gujarat cadre to the AGMUT cadre, specifically in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
An order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, a copy of which lies with GNS, says that the extension will take effect beyond October 20, 2025, and has been granted on the grounds of personal hardship.
The decision, as per the order, follows a proposal submitted by the Ministry of Home Affairs. (GNS)
