DIG NKR Maqsood-ul-Zaman to Hold additional Charge of CKR on Temporary Basis

Ahead of the 18th Phase-IV Mid-Career Training Programme (MCTP) scheduled from October 27, 2025, at the Sardar Vallabhbhai National Police Academy (SVNPA), Hyderabad, the Jammu and Kashmir Home Department has assigned additional charges to senior IPS officers to ensure smooth functioning during the period of their absence.
According to an official order issued by the Home Department as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, the following arrangements have been made, Mohd. Suleman Choudhary, IPS, IGP Traffic J&K, will additionally look after the responsibilities of Vivek Gupta, IPS, IGP Railways, while he attends the MCTP.
Maqsood-ul-Zaman, IPS, DIG NKR Baramulla, will temporarily assume the duties of Pande Rajiv Omparkash, IPS, DIG CKR, during the officer’s training period.
The Home Department stated that these additional charge assignments have been approved by the Director General of Police (DG-P) and will remain in effect until the officers resume their respective duties after completion of the training.
