On the death anniversary of Former Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Late Moulana Mohammad Farooq, and Abdul Gani Lone, Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum has paid glowing tribute to the late religious ,socio,political leaders.
In a statement issued here, Chairman Forum Abdul Qayoom Wani, said that people of Kashmir remember late Leader Molvi Mohd Farooq for his enormous contributions to the religious scriptures, sermonizing at Jamia Masjid Srinagar and for being the icon of his times of Mirwaiz dynasty. The role of Mirwaiz dynasty is remarkable in lighting the candle of islam in kashmir by making Kashmiri Translation of Quran available to kashmiri people by late Mirwaiz Yusuf Shah.
Late Mirwaiz Moulana Mohammad Farooq put no stone unturned during his times by transforming Kashmir society by virtue of religious and social and moral values.
Chairman Abdul Qayoom Wani reteriated his demand of opening jamia Masjid Srinagar for Friday Prayers and allowing Mirwaiz Umer Farooq to lead their Jamma Prayers.
Remembering Kashmiri socio, political leader late Abdul Gani Lone, Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum chairman Ab Qayoom wani said Lone was a brave leader of his times who worked for the common cause of Kashmiri people and the downtrodden sections of the society and contributed a lot for the people of jammu and kashmir The statement added, Lone raised the issue of common kashmiris to fulfil their aspirations.
wani said both the leaders will be remembered forever because of their contributions.
