Jammu and Kashmir Bank Ltd. is all set to launch it’s yearly calendar 2023 very soon.

Preparations in this regard had already been taken up months ago and in coming days the yearly calendar will be made public.

According to sources the yearly calendar will be released in an event and final touch to the ceremony is underway.

Notably the J&K Bank Ltd is coming up with its yearly calendar after a gap of two years due to restrictions imposed for Covid19 pandemic situation. However as the situation is almost back to normalcy the Bank after keeping the situation into account has decided to publish its annual calendar for the year 2023. The news regarding bank’s decision was first made public in November when KNS Editor had during an informal meet with JK Bank MD&CEO Baldev Prakash and Union MoS Finance Mr Bhagwat Karad had raised this public demand.

Meanwhile traders, businessmen and general public have hailed the move of bank authorities. They termed the calendar “part of every household” owing to its credibility.

Nazir Ahmad who owns a wholesale shop in city’s Hari Singh High Street said, “The calendar has become a part and parcel of every household in J&K”. He added in absence of J&K Bank calendar for last three years the walls of several houses and shops were blank”.

“It is a moment of joy that J&K Bank is going to publish yearly calendar this year. Being a customer I was eagerly waiting for this moment”, Shazia Sultan, an entrepreneur told. (KNS)
