Baramulla:A high level delegation of Baramulla Traders Federation under the presidentship of Er Tariq Mughloo met Arshad Hussain Dar, zonal head of Jammu and Kashmir Bank and registered it’s protest against the bank management for charging “commitment charges” on the customers especially businessmen.
Mughloo and other members registered their strong protest against the new tax and demanded it’s roll back. The delegation members said that there are only few facilities which bank was providing to it’s customers and now all those facilities are taken back one after another and fresh taxes are imposed on the people of J&K, despite the fact no other bank operating in the UT is charging such taxes.
Mughloo said that these types of new taxes will create misunderstanding between loyal customers and the bank which has been established by the people of J&K. Mughloo hoped that good sense will prevail on the bank management and they will withdraw this diktat at an earliest, otherwise people will lose faith on this bank.
The Federation general secretary said that businessmen of the UT are severly passing through bad days and new commitment tax will put further burden on the people of J&K.
