Baramulla 28 Oct 2023: In order to revitalize the internal hirarchy and induction of young faces into the Association, JK Teachers Association constituted the District body for Baramulla District.

In an extraordinary meeting held at Baramulla, the association nominated Mr Altaf Hussain Bhat as District President Baramulla while elevating Mr Ishfaq Ahmad Shah as Provincial President Kashmir.Among others who were nominated to the District body includes Mr Rafeeq Ahmad Lone as Patron. Mr Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat as District Vice President, Mr Farooq Hussain Dar as G Secratary, Mr Javid Iqbal as Finance Secratary, Mr Gulzar Ahmad Mir as Convenor. Mr Sajad Ahmad Bhat as Coordinator, Mr Bilal Ahmad Lone as Organisor. Mr Sayeed Ahmad Mir as Advisor, Mr Mohd Imran Dar as Joint Secretary, Mr Shabir Ahmad Malik as Media Secratary, Mr Sameer Ahmed Khan as Pub Secratary, Mr Shakeel Ahmad Khawaja as Deputy Organisor and Mr Mukhtiyar Ahmad Qureshi as Deputy Coordinator.

Meanwhile Mr Avtar Krishan Bhatt was nominated as Head of PM Package employees wing, Mr Anil Radha as Head of Jammu Based Employees wing. Mr Balvinder Singh as Head of Sikh Minority Wing and Mr Munnaver Hussain as ST Employees wing.

Moreover Mr Avtar Krishna Bhat has been given the responsibility of District Spokesperson and Mr Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat has been given the responsibility as District Media Advisor in addition to their own responsibilities.

The reconstitution of District body was needed to reactivate the cadre, especially in Baramulla, to speed up the efforts to resolve several pending administrative and service issues of teacher fraternity.
