Abide by all the guidelines as envisaged in the Model Code of Conduct and maintain dignity of law: Shah Fayaz

After the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) came into effect, the Jammu and Kashmir Employees Coordination Committee (JKECC) has urged employees to stay away from involvement in political activities of any sort.

In a statement issued to the news agency CNS, President JKECC Shah Fayaz said that as responsible employees, it is essential that all of us adhere to the guidelines set forth by the Election Commission of India with regard to conduct and behaviour while the MCC is in place.

He urged all employees to refrain from engaging in any political activities, including participating in political rallies or meetings,displaying political affiliations on social media, engaging in political discussions or debates during work hours or distributing political materials or propaganda of any kind.

Fayaz advised the employees to maintain a neutral and impartial stance in order uphold the integrity of ECI guidelines and CSR for employees.

“Cooperation and commitment to this advisory are important for every employee to follow so as to avoid any action under rules,” the President JKECC added. (CNS)
