“We won’t tolerate blasphemy of our beloved Prophet Mohammad SAW and Islam”

Baramulla: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) spokesperson Shiekh Amir has lodged a complaint in police station Baramulla for registration of an FIR against the participants of Haridwar Dharam Sansad who has made hate speeches and derogatory remarks against beloved Prophet Mohammad SAW .
After lodging written complaint in police station Baramulla Sheikh Amir told media persons that hate speeches delivered at a Dharma Sansad in Haridwar to incite violence against Muslims and derogatory remarks against our beloved Prophet Mohammad SAW which has deeply hurt the sentiments of Muslims across country.
“Many attempts to alienate and incite violence were made as our rights were snatches like abrogation of Article 370 an 35A but we have showed tolerance and resort to non-violence . But derogatory remarks against our beloved Prophet Mohammad SAW who the greatest personality in the world and the reason behind existence of this universe won’t be tolerated,” rued Sheikh Amir.
An FIR has been lodged against Jitendra Narayan Tyagi and others in connection with alleged hate speeches delivered at a Dharma Sansad in Haridwar to incite violence against the minorities, police said on Friday. Tyagi, who changed his name from Waseem Rizvi after converting to Hinduism earlier this month, and other speakers at last week’s event have been accused of making extremely provocative speeches and some video clips of it are doing the rounds on social media.
“Those who are making provocative speeches to incite violence against the Muslim minorities as videos of their hate speeches are shared on various social media platforms. I want an FIR U/S-153A, 295A and other sections against them,” he added.
He has moved the complaint to police station Baramulla with evidences against the accused.
“I have shared the video links with police which is clearly shows that they have committed cognizable offences Under Section153A, 295A and other relevant sections of IPC. All accused must be arrested as their actions are violation of fundamental rights and secularism which is basic structure of Indian Constitution. The sentiments of Muslims have been deeply hurt,” Amir further said.
