Baramulla: A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum (JKRETTF) led by its senior trade union leaders Rahi Irshad, Mohammad Altaf Bhat flanked by District General Secretary Reyaz Ahmad Ganai on Saturday visited residence of senior most leader of JKRETTF Mohammad Iqbal Bhat to expressed condolences and solidarity with Bhat and his bereaved family on the sad demise of his mother in law at Bharampora Rafiabad in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The delegation was accompanied by District Finance Secretary Barkat Ahmad Mir, District Media Wing Head Jan Mohammad Lone, District Member Ajaiz Ahmad Ganai, Zonal President(ZP) Sopore Showkat Ahamd, ZP Boniyar Shahnawaz Yousuf, ZP Dangerpora Javid Ahmad Wani and VZP Dangerpora Zahoor Ahmad, ZP Sopore Showkat Ahmad Dar, ZP Dangiwacha Mushtaq Mohi-ud-din, Sectroial President Tariq Toiab, Mushtaq Ahmad Naiko ZE of Zone Rohama and scores of teachers from across district.

While expressing solidarity and sympathy with bereaved family, Rahi Irshad said death of a mother is a colossal loss but we have to maintain our composure in such tragic and hard times.

“On behalf of JKRET teaching community Jammu and Kashmir, I share pain and agony of our seior leader Mohammad Iqbal Bhat and the bereaved family, he added.

All the leaders prayed for eternal peace to departed soul and fortitude to the family to face this difficult time. Speaking on the occasion, District General Secretary Reyaz Ahmad Ganai expressed heartfelt condolences and solidarity with Bhat and his bereaved family. Ganai while highlighting the importance of death as gift from Allah to the mankind, said,” Death of the mother is an irreparable loss and JKRETFF stand with its senior leader in the hours of grief and tough times.”

Earlier, ZP Sopore Showkat Ahmad said that the members present in the meeting are here to express condolence and solidarity besides condolence messages are pouring in from across the length and breadth of the Jammu and Kashmir in solidarity with the bereaved leader and his family.

Later, District President Mohmmad Yaqoob Bhat who joined the condolence meeting a bit late as his mother was also ailing, prayed for departed soul and the forbearance to the bereaved family.

Bhat said that whole employee fraternity of District Baramulla in general and JKRETTF leadership Baramulla in particular stands with the bereaved family and pray to Almighty to rest her soul in peace and grant her highest place in Jannah.

On this occasion, prayers were offered in favour of the departed soul for grant of peace, besides restraint and endurance to the bereaved family, especially Mohammad Iqbal Bhat.
