BARAMULLA, NOVEMBER 07 :

Youth Empowerment Society (YES) in collaboration with the Kalgi Dhar Gurudwara Parbhandhak Committee Khawaja Bagh inaugurated Kalgi Dhar library at Gurudwara Kalgi Dhar Khawaja Bagh on Sunday.

The Inauguration was followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony performed by Panthic Sewadar Jagjeet Singh Veer Ji ( In charge Komal Library Srinagar) and Surrinder Singh Secretary GPC Khawaja Bagh in presence of other dignitaries.

The respected dignitaries shared their thoughts during their speech and urged all the students to make the best use of the library and enlighten themselves with all the knowledge available in the library. They added that the library would instill the hope to learn among people and stressed the need for the holistic development of the personality of every individual.

The dignitaries attending the ceremony Jagjeet Singh , Er Sandeep Singh ( Joint Secretary GPC Srinagar) , Indumeet Singh ( Socio – Political Activist) , Gurmeet Kour ( Founder YES) , Navneet Kour Mehta ( Founder YES) , Prof Jasdeep Singh ( Founder Kalgi Dhar Library) , Prof Baljeet Singh (Founder Kalgi Dhar Library) , Prof Ajmeer Singh ( Founder Kalgi Dhar Library) , Prof Diljit Singh ( Founder Kalgi Dhar Library) , Bablu Singh ( Founder Cricket team,Sher-e-Dil) , Ramanjeet Kour , Surrinder Singh ( Secretary GPC Khawaja Bagh) , Ravinder Singh (Founder Kalgi Dhar Library) and Pardeep Singh Dardi ( Founder YES and Kalgi Dhar Library) .

Team YES expressed their special gratitude to the President GPC Khawaja Harbinder Singh, Vice – President Badevpteet Singh and to the other members of GPC Khawaja Bagh for their support in the establishing of the library.

It is pertinent to mention here, the Library is established by Team YES.

Beside the inauguration ceremony ,the Chai Langer was distributed among the Sangat.
