SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER,16 :

Indian Army organised picnic for girls from Basera-E-Tabassum orphanage, Kupwara to Srinagar in which 40 girls visited Mukdam Sab, Dargah and Nishad garden, Dal Lake, Medical mobile unit. This heartwarming event was organized for orphan girls in the community, for a day filled with joy, laughter, and cherished moments. The day-out aimed to bring happiness and create beautiful memories for these young souls who lack family support.

In continuation to care for orphan girls, they are also invited on regular basis by Indian Army for events like Raksha Bandhan and other National festivals. In this particular recreational trip various activities were planned to entertain and engage the girls throughout the day including visit to tourist places in Srinagar. The highlight of the day was seeing the smiles on the girls faces, radiating pure happiness as they played, laughed, and got time to bond with each other. The picnic concluded with heartfelt goodbyes and promises of future gatherings, leaving behind cherished memories and a sense of belonging for these girls. The event served as a reminder of the power of compassion and community coming together to bring joy to those who need it most.

The picnic for orphan girls was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impact not just on the girls but on Indian Army as well, fostering a spirit of empathy and solidarity within community.
