KUPWARA, 20 MAY 2021:
On the basis of specific information regarding the movement of *ANEs*, *Kupwara Police* established a special Naka at main Market Town Kupwara. During search/ checking *Two* persons were found in suspicious condition , on seeing the search party tried to escape from the spot but was chased and apprehended by the search party.
The apprehended persons on preliminary questioning disclosed their identity as;
01. Jahangir Ahmad Hajam S/O Mangta Hajam R/O Khawarpara Tangdhar..
02. Ab Hameed Hajam S/O Mangta Hajam R/O Khawarpara Tangdhar.
On their personal search06 Live grenades were recovered from their possession which they were to provide to terrorists.
In this context Case FIR No. 160/2021 U/s 3/4 Explosive Substance Act has been registered in Police Station Kupwara. Further investigation into the matter is under process.
