Says focused energy in right direction key to success

Iqbal Rasool Dar, who is currently serving as ICAS officer in the Ministry of Finance has achieved another milestone by qualifying prestigious IFS examination.
While talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Iqbal, who got 69th rank in the examination, said that he is not sure about joining the IFS and he needs to consult his seniors and family members to take to final call.
Iqbal, who hails from Jagerpora Handwara area of Kupwara district, received his primary schooling from a private school in Handwara, later he got his secondary school education from Srinagar and moved to Pune to complete his B-Tech in Civil Engineering from Bharati Vidyapeeth University.
He said that this a uphill task for him. “Since Civil Services Exams are getting more and more competitive, qualifying it is itself a challenging task,” Iqbal said.
In a message to the aspirants, Iqbal said that focused energy in the right direction is the key to success and then intelligence and hard-work eventually pays off.
“Civil services isn’t the only panacea for career goals, one can be a teacher, an engineer as well,” he said. (KNS)
