Sopore, December 07 :
Under the aegis of Adbi Markaz Kamraz, Majlisun Nisa Sopore on Tuesday held women’s literary function under two sessions at Kashmir Women’s College Of Education Sopore, which was attended by writers and Poets.
As per a statement, issued hear in the first session Dr FarhatJabeen,Haneefa Qureshi, Ashwaq Masoodi and Dr Rafia Wali were felicitated for their contribution in their respective fields.
This session was presided over by Prof Fehmeeda Hilal Principal Women’s College Baramulla and ADC Sopore Parvez Sajad and president Adbi Markaz Kamraz Mohammad Amin Bhat were also present in the presidium.
A women poetic session was also held in second session in which Nighat Nasreen, Rafiqa Majeed, Firdous Raina, Fareeda Shok, Ishrat Gul, Yasmeen Ahad participated and session was chaired by Firdous Raina and Shabnam Tilgami, Haneefa Qureshi, Nuzhat Kirmani were also present in the presidium.
The ‘Mushaira’ witnessed huge response as their creations were applauded by the audiences.
