KUPWARA JUNE, 11:

A 60-year old man was seriously injured in a bear attack in the Nowgam area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday.

Locals told the news agency that the incident occurred in the Nowgam area, leaving the man identified as Gulam udin Badana, son of Nezaam Udin, a resident of Mawer, critically injured.

Confirming the incident to the news agency official said that ghe injured was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment where he was shifted to Srinagar hospital for further treatment.
