Srinagar, Nov 27 :
A Waqf employee was injured in a knife attack in the Nowhatta area of Srinagar on Thursday.
Officials said the victim, identified as Hilal Ahmad Panjra, aged fifty five, was stabbed by an unknown person, causing an injury to his abdomen. He was immediately rushed to JLNM Hospital Rainawari for medical treatment.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and a search has been launched to trace the attacker. Investigation into the matter is underway. (CNS)
