I am completely fine, asymptomatic: Wani

The manager of India’s Winter Olympics contingent, Muhammad Abbas Wani from Gulmarg, has tested positive for the Covid-19 at the Beijing Airport.
Abbas Wani former MLA Gulmarg and well-known skier while talking with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that he is absolutely fine and is asymptomatic, however, as a precautionary measure he is in quarantine.
“I have been asked to restrict my movement till reports of second test will come and I am presently in hotel room at Olympic Village,” he said.
“I am in quarantine in my hotel room at Olympic village and have been asked to restrict my movement within the room only until the results of my 2nd Covid test. I am completely fine and asymptomatic,” he said.
Wani said that other three who were accompanying him have been tested negative for Covid-19.
The three other Indians who have visited include Harjinder Singh as its chef de mission and Ludar Chand Thakur as an alpine coach besides Kashmiri skier Arif Khan who is the only athlete from India to have qualified for the Olympics.
