Jammu and Kashmir police have registered a case after a marriage hall in Khanmoh area of Srinagar outskirts was allegedly trespassed on 2 June to hold People’s Democratic Party (PDP) workers’ meeting, which was attended by District Youth President Srinagar Zuhaib Yusuf Mir.

Sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that a complaint was registered by the Assistant Executive Engineer of Roads and Building (R&B) department at Police Station Pantha Chowk regarding the PDP workers’ meeting in a Marriage Hall in Khanmoh after breaking locks of the property.

The meeting was attended by District Youth President Srinagar Zuhaib Yusuf Mir and was organised by President Public Welfare Trust Khanmoh Zahoor Ahmad Shah, a resident of Khanmoh, they said.

After receiving a complaint in this regard, a case under FIR No 50/22 under sections of 451, 147 IPC was registered in Police Station Pantha Chowk and further investigation has been set into motion. (KDC)
