Baramulla: A massive fire breaks out out in ‘Sherwani Hall’ in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district in which the entire hall was destroyed.

Witness said that the fire broke out around 2:15 PM this afternoon after blast took place probably of heating gas cylinder inside a living room of a chowkidar gaurding the MCB and hall. 


Locals and  Fire and Emergency Department officials said firefighting operation was going and fire was controlled by the streanious efforts of firefighters who were joined by locals. “Police and Army also joined the fire extinguishing operation and fire was controlled,” said a local Mudasir who was part of firefighting operation.


” It is big loss to Baramulla as the historical hall built by Army was dedicated to people and has been under supervision of MCB Baramulla,” said Chairman MCB Touseef Raina.” I appeal government to rebuilt the hall,” he added.
