Srinagar, Apr 22: General officer commanding (GoC) of Srinagar based 15 Corps, D P Pandey on Friday said that recruitment graph of militancy is going down in the Kashmir Valley.

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function in Kupwara, Pandey said that the recruitment graph and militancy is going down in the Valley.  “Last year it was down as well and this year it has further come down as society and the people have understood that militancy has only brought miseries to them,” he said. He added that he as people would keep an eye on their children and stop them from the path of militancy and that he believes Kashmir will witness good times like it has witnessed in the past.
