Baramulla, May 21: A tragic road accident claimed the life of a Class 8 student in Sopore town, north Kashmir, on Tuesday, officials reported.
The incident occurred when Azaan Fayaz, son of Fayaz Ahmad of Sidiq Colony Sopore, was involved in an accident while riding a two-wheeler.
He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and subsequently referred to a medical institution in Srinagar, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities have taken cognizance of the incident and are investigating the matter.
