SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 16 :
A non-local minor girl died after taking ill while putting at a hotel in famous tourist resort Pahalgam, official sources on Saturday evening said.
They said that Samriddhi Lunia, 8, daughter of Gaeet Lunia, resident of Durgapora West Bengal was putting up in Hotel Hilltop Pahalgam when she suddenly fell ill.
The girl, they told GNS, was taken to PHC Pahalgam from where she was referred to GMC Anantnag, where the doctors declared her dead on arrival.
The minor’s body was brought back to Hotel for legal formalities following which the last rites of the deceased were performed at a crematory in Mattan in Anantnag, they further said. (GNS)
