Baramaulla: Misbah Manzoor- class 9th student from Baramulla district is going to represent Jammu and Kashmir at the National level National Science Seminar Misbah Manzoor as she qualified for National Level National Science Seminar (NSS).
The seminar theme at various levels was based on the theme “Artificial Intelligence: Potentials and Concerns”. She qualified & bagged top position in the two-Tier competition at each level. Earlier the competition at District level was held in DIET complex Baramulla with participants from all Zones of the District who participated in competition.
The judges adjudged Misbah Manzoor for her exemplary oratory skills but her presence of mind as performed very well in written part of the competition and during the Q & A section which demonstrated her deep understanding of the concept, lateral thinking and intellectual prowess. The competition was fierce, with each student bringing their unique perspective and innovative ideas to the forefront.
The event, sponsored by the National Council of Science Museums under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, exemplifies the nation’s commitment to nurturing scientific temper among its youth. It provided a platform for students to showcase their knowledge, creativity, and innovative thinking skills. Misba Manzoor, a 9th-grade student from Lones Noble Mission Educational Institute in Baramulla, emerged as the divisional topper. Her exceptional performance not only secured her place as Kashmir Division’s representative but also led to her triumph at the subsequent State Level competition on September 12, 2024.
The Principal DIET Baramulla congratulated the bright young mind Misbah Manzoor for her performance at the Divisional level which made her successful entry for the National level competition. He also appreciated the teachers who played a key role to groom the student at school level. He wished her best for the National level Seminar.
