Says he is proud of his father as he served people of valley for last 40 years

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 06 :
Dr. Sidharth Bindroo, son of Makhan Lal Bindroo, a famous chemist of the valley, who was shot dead last evening by unknown gunmen, Wednesday said that his father was a man of principles, and no threat would stop his father from serving the people of Kashmir.
According to the Kashmir News Service (KNS) correspondent, talking to media here, Sidharth said that he is in deep shock after this incident as he had never expected the death of his father this way.
“My father used to live an extraordinary life. Though he was an ordinary chemist but through his dedication towards his work he has earned a reputable name in the Valley,” he said.
He also said that based on his morals and principles every Kashmiri used to respect him and his work.
He said that his father was a man of principles and was true to his profession as he never did any injustice to his work. “Not only a true professional but my father was a very helpful and friendly person. The people of valley also loved and respected him.”
Sidharth said that his father had a deep emotional connect with the people of the Valley and he always encouraged his family to live in the Valley despite threats.
“Since 90’s my father knew that life threats would always be there, but he was a brave man and he didn’t stop his noble work.” he said, adding that his father’s dream was to serve the people of the Valley with this noble work.
“I am proud of my father as he served the people of the Valley for the last 40 years. Our whole family is in deep shock, and we thank everyone that they stood with us in these difficult times,” he said. (KNS)
