Srinagar, Feb 19 :

The army on Saturday said that it continued extensive searches to trace the missing kid in Awoora village of Kupwara, but could not get any trace of him.

In a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), a spokesperson said that today extensive searches were conducted by joint teams of 41 RR, 160 TA and JKP for missing Talib Hussain Khan of Awoora village who went missing on February 15.

The statement reads that a team comprising of 01 officer, 03 JCOs and 51 RR searched following areas like Reshwari, Gorhi Nallah, Pt 1957, Nayem Shah Zyarat, Gujjar Patti, Mir Muqam, Frasduban Forest, Joda Talab, Khan Mohalla and Awoora village.

It reads that, however, no traces of the missing kid were found. “Earlier also, 160 TA and 41 RR have been following this case and have already conducted searches with tracker dog and drones.” (KNS)
