BUDGAM SEPTEMBER 18 :

A non local labour was killed during a brawl with his colleagues in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday evening.

A police official told CNS that a non local labour identified as Maan Singh (35) a resident of Shahjahanpur of Uttar Pradesh was seriously injured on yesterday evening during a brawl over some issue with his colleagues at a brick kiln 71 B owned by Riyaz Ahmed Najar located at Labartal of the district.

The injured labour was immediately shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment; however he succumbed to his injuries. Further an FIR number 297 of 2021 under section 302IPC was accordingly registered at police station Budgam.

Meanwhile, after the incident, both non-local labourers fled from the scene of crime and a massive manhunt was launched to trace them. Later on, one of the accused, identified as Kali Karan was arrested by a police party from Budgam police station on Saturday morning. Another accused Room Ram son is absconding and a hunt has been launched to trace him (CNS)
