CPI(M) leader and PAGD Spokesman Mohammad Yousuf Taraigami on Wednesday said that PAGD is together in defence of the rights of people of Jammu and Kashmir.

As the National Conference party hinted of going solo in upcoming assembly election by saying that NC was meted out unfair treatment in PAGD, party demanded course correction and hinted out going for assembly polls separately.

Speaking exclusively to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Taraigami said that PAGD is together in defence of the rights of people in Jammu and Kashmir. “As and when elections are announced we will take note of it and takes stock of things and accordingly the situation will be discussed,” he said.

About NC hinted of going solo in upcoming assembly election, he said that he don’t have details about the same but there may be certain amount of misunderstanding because PAGD is working under the chairmanship of Dr. Farooq Abdullah.

He urged all political parties to remain together as right of people of J&K are at stake and should fight together for the rights of Jammu and Kashmir. (KNS)
