Srinagar, November 18 :

The People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration has convened a meeting at the conglomerate president’s residence today at 11:30 am to deliberate on the issue of the civilian killings in Hyderpora encounter on Monday evening, sources said here on Thursday.

Sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the meeting has been called at Dr Farooq Abdullah’s Gupkar residence at 11:30 am today.

They said that the meeting has been called to discuss and deliberate on the issue of civilian killings in Hyderpora encounter earlier this week.

Sources also said that Dr Farooq Abdullah had yesterday talked Jammu and Kashmir Lt. Governor, Manoj Sinha over the issue and handing over of bodies of two civilians to their families.

Notably, families of two civilians Dr Mudasir Gul and Altaf Ahmad Bhat have been protesting for the last three days at press enclave Srinagar, demanding the return of bodies of their slain kins, while refuting the police claims. (KNS)
