The An-24 aircraft operated by Siberia-based Angara Airlines was en route from Blagoveshchensk to Tynda when it disappeared from radar shortly before reaching its destination.
Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry confirmed that rescue teams had found the “burning fuselage” of the plane, though no further details on the condition of those on board were immediately provided.
