Kathua, May 14 :

Joint forces including police and army launched a search operation in a village in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir after villagers reportedly spotted some suspected individuals.

Police said suspects are six in number and were seen by some villagers of Jathana village.

Shortly after receiving the information about the movement of suspects, police assisted by army and CRPF personnel launched a search operation.

Reports said that no suspected individual has been traced so far.

A public address system was used to advise villagers to stay alert and active. [KNT]
