The residents of Khanpeth , Mirgund & Haratreth etc villages of block Singhpora protested and blocked the national Highway here at Singhpora outside the main gate of Block Development Office Singhpora and alleged that there is a personal bias & on recommendation of some people in favour of their loved ones who are not deserving enough households to receive the benefits of PMAY scheme.
The highway was blocked for sometime and soon after this Tehsildar Singhpora reached to the spot.
“The PMAY scheme is not provided to the deserving people instead it is given to people on recommendations”, residents alleged.
Tehsildar Saqib Murtaza assured the common people that there will be proper investigation related to these cases.
“These cases will be published in newspaper and anybody having any objection can contact the concerned authorities, these cases and schemes will only be provided to the deserving people”, BDO Singhpora.
